CyberBrokers Supports delegate.cash

Secure your assets while still accessing their utility!

We understand security of your digital assets is a high priority and many times security concerns have prevented you from accessing their utility. We are pleased to announce the support for delegate.cash throughout the CyberBrokers universe.

You will now be able to connect to CyberBrokers services with a delegated hot wallet on a daily basis and not worry about putting your assets in cold storage at risk. 

TL;DR

• CyberBrokers now supports the delegate.cash on-chain standard.

• You can access CyberBrokers utility just using a hot wallet.

• Mech Reveal and Assembly will still need cold wallet access.

• We are migrating to delegate.cash for Discord token gated access.

How does it work?

Using delegate.cash with CyberBrokers is a two step process.

Step 1 - delegate.cash

• You will create an on-chain record for a hot wallet/cold wallet association through the delegate.cash smart contract.

• This is for read-only access, it does not put your assets at risk in any way!

• You only need to complete this step once.

Step 2 - Discord

• We are migrating from collab.land to delegate.cash for token gated access.

• You will need to verify ownership of a wallet - from Step 1 or your cold wallet.

• This step needs to be completed before December 9th, 2022.

What if I only want to use my cold wallet?

If you’re a Gambler, you can continue to use a single wallet.  Skip Step 1 and use your cold wallet for Step 2. 

Be warned though, you’re going to be easy pickings for a Phisherman or Hacker and are putting all your assets at risk, not just CyberBrokers.  It takes very little effort to create a new hot wallet in MetaMask, throw a little ETH into it for transactions, and complete Step 1.  We recommend all holders do this.

Where are the instructions?

We’ve got you there too! We’ve created detailed instructions with pictures to walk you through using each Step, using delegate.cash, and getting your Discord account linked to your wallet.

We have also setup regular weekly sessions in Discord to assist holders in questions and setting up delegate.cash.  The first two are:

• 29 November 2022, 9pm EDT

• 1 December 2022, 2pm EDT

Will other projects support delegate.cash?

Some projects like ArtBlocks, ForgottenRunes, and Azuki already have.  Once you complete Step 1 it’s really up to other projects to support delegate.cash on their end.  

We highly recommend you ask them on Discord or Twitter when they will support delegate.cash.  The sooner all projects support a single standard for wallet security the better!
